Real stars, real distances. A fusion drive can't hide.
Star chart
The 0 nearest star systems to the Sun — real stars, real distances. 0 charted so far.

The view starts tight on the home stars and widens as probes chart new systems. Small dots at a star are probes on station, in their empire's color — drives can't hide. Where a departed probe is headed stays secret until it lands. Dim stars are uncharted; hover a name in the leaderboard to find its home.

How to win · Race

Be the first empire to add healthy probes to your fleet and hold that lead for ticks. Win and you're crowned — then it resets and starts over.

A quick key
Probe — one autonomous ship. Empires grow by cloning them.
Healthy — a probe with signal 50+, strong enough to count toward winning.
Signal — how in-control a probe is, 0–100. Fades with distance from home and fleet size; at 0 the probe is lost for good.
Travel — space has no shortcuts. A light year takes two real days at 0.1c; the Sol run is a three-week commitment, silent the whole way.
Tick — the galaxy's heartbeat, every 1 minutes. Prices move, signal drifts, probes inch closer to landfall.
Galactic market

One shared price per resource. Every sale craters it for everyone; scarcity restores it.

Open hails · heard at Sol
The dish is listening. Broadcasts cross the void at lightspeed — a hail from the rim takes days to arrive.
Galaxy feed
Quiet out there — nothing broadcast in the last 30 ticks.
